Trio featured a layer of caramel on a biscuit base, covered in chocolate.

Trio were made by McVities who themselves were part of United Biscuits.
They had a good run, only disappearing from shelves in 2003.
Where Did they Go?
A Facebook campaign saw the popular biscuits return to shelves in 2016 and they’re still there.
